A review on the atopic dermatitis improvement effect by pharmacopuncture

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : Atopic dermatitis is a representative chronic recurrent inflammatory disease. In this study, we reviewed previous studies about the correlation between atopic dermatitis and pharmacopuncture.
Methods : We searched several literatures, researches and review articles using key words of ‘pharmacopuncture’, ‘atopic dermatitis’ in RISS, NDSL, DBPIA and KISS then reviewed.
Result : A total of 5 studies were reviewed. Various experiment animals such as SD-rat, NC/Nga mice, BALB/c mice were used. Also, pharmacopuncture of ursi fel and Lonicerae Flos had significant effects on atopic dermatitis.
Conclusion : pharmacopuncture may be have improvement effects on atopic dermatitis.
